Mini Motorways is getting a massive update, giving players an incredible road trip

Kiwi developer Dinosaur Polo Club have announced that they are bringing a new update to their traffic title Mini Motorways, that adds in two new modes, Endless Mode and Expert Mode. Called the The Endless & Expert Update, original I know, this is the games biggest update to date.

“We’re beyond lucky to have such a wonderfully supportive Mini Motorways community,” said Casey Lucas-Quaid, Community Manager, Dinosaur Polo Club. “And we know many people have been excited to explore Mini Motorways in different ways. Our team has been hard at work all year to bring Endless Mode and Expert Mode to life. We’re thrilled to share this with our amazing players and we can’t wait to see what they create with these new game modes!”

The new Endless mode, a highly requested feature, will let players keep going after a game over, or start a new city with it, giving you the option to build up the city of your dreams. Without the threat of a car crash, you can keep building and aim to make a more efficient city, earning milestones and awards for doing so.

For those seeking a challenge, you can take on the new Expert Mode, which shares some dna with Mini Metro’s Extreme mode. With this one players will need to learn what commitment really means as road tiles and upgrades quickly become a permanent part of the city. Play strategically with access to the full suite of upgrades at the end of each week, but make sure to plan ahead as an upgrade cannot be selected twice in a row. Climb a brand new Expert Mode leaderboard on each map and compete against the highest tier of civil engineers for the top spot.

It isn’t just new content that is coming with this update, as a host of quality-of-life improvements, many requested by the community, will accompany The Endless & Expert Update. Discover a new multi-level manual zoom option to choose your preferred way to draw roads across the city on every platform, and make well-informed decisions with the ability to view your current city layout before choosing an upgrade at the end of each in-game week.

The update is set to arrive on November 3rd for all platforms the game is on, so that means Apple Arcade, Switch, as well as PC and Mac.
