Matchpoint: Tennis Championships gets a release date for most platforms paired with a Game Pass launch

Kalypso Media have announced that Matchpoint: Tennis Championship will hit the courts on most platforms on July 7 and as always Switch is not included in that group. Check out the latest trailer for the game below.

Alongside the release date reveal, comes the confirmation of two more Tennis icons appearing in the game, as Tim Henman and Tommy Haas are joining other legendary players, as part of the Legends Edition.

The Legends Edition also includes a digital wallpaper and an original soundtrack, players can opt to pick up this version of the game at retail or via a digital download add-on.

If all that wasn’t enough, when the game does release for most platforms on July 7, it will also launch into Xbox and PC Game Pass.

Simon Hellwig, Kalypso Media Owner & Managing Director says of this news: 'We are very excited that Matchpoint - Tennis Championships will already be available on the official release date of 7th July 2022 for Game Pass customers on Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and that we will be able to present our new tennis franchise to as many players as possible around the world.'

There has been no mention as to why Switch is not included with the other release dates, but it should come later in the year.
