Matchpoint: Tennis Championships dates it Switch release and talks up cross-play
Kalypso and local developers Torus Games have announced that the Switch release of Matchpoint: Tennis Championships, which is releasing next week for most platforms, will come to Switch this October.
When the game is released on any platform, it will support cross-play, meaning you can serve on Xbox and get returned from a PlayStation, or any other combination of platforms and yes, that will include Switch in October.
In addition to that news, a new dev diary has been released that has game Producer Kevin McIntosh and Game Designer Dave McIntosh talk about some of the features that players will experience in their journey to becoming World #1. From choosing the right coach to implementing the best play style, this second Developer Diary video provides insight into the game’s true-to-life tennis tactics that will put players’ skills and decision-making to the test, check it out.
Matchpoint – Tennis Championships will be released with Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass and will be available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4|5 and Windows PC on 7th July 2022. The title will be available on Nintendo Switch™ on 20th October 2022
