Kraken Academy summons up a demo on Switch today
Indie developer Happy Broccoli Games and local publisher Fellow Traveller Games have announced that Kraken Academy, a game set in a high school where the end of the world seems routine, now has a demo out for Switch, ahead of the games release next month.
This is not your average high school adventure, as at Kraken Academy, ghosts fill the art department and cultists meet below the monkey bars and you will join forces with a magical Kraken, to discover who is betraying the school and given how weird some folks are, that is going to be a long list to sort out.
Each time you loop back through time, you will have more information at your disposal and it will let you get closer to your goal of saving the world. Though while saving the world is definitely an important goal there's a whole range of other activities to dive into. Learn teachers’ and students’ routines as you explore every corner of the campus during this three day loop. Attend a costume party, become a detective, and help the school's janitor bring down a crime syndicate.
If you want to get the demo for yourself, you can do that here, if you have a PC, the game is already available there through the usual stores and it is also coming to Xbox. As for Switch, it will release there on February 24, so a month and change from now.
