John Wick Hex is bringing the Gun-fu master to PC and consoles
John Wick is making the leap from the silver screen, to the digital one, with the announcement of John Wick Hex an all new game from the director of Thomas Was Alone, Mike Bithell. The game is coming to consoles, PC and Mac, though the latter two will launch exclusively via the Epic Game Store.
The game is a fast paced, action-orientated game, that will give you access to all of the moves of John Wick, in an all new story-line, created exclusively for the game.
In addition the creative and stunt teams from behind the films, worked to help make sure that each part of the game is as authentic as it can be. Wick's signature Gun-Fu is on display and will be seen by players in what can best be described as fight chess.
Perform well and progress in the main story mode (which features an original story created for the game) to unlock new weapons, suit options and locations. Each weapon changes up the tactics you’ll use and the manner in which you’ll play. Ammo is finite and realistically simulated, so time your reloads and make the most of weapons you scavenge on the job.
Players must choose every action and attack they make, while considering their immediate cost and consequences. Every move in John Wick Hex feels like a scene from the movies, and every fight contributes to your progress on the job and requires precise strategic thinking.
If that was not enough for you, the games unique visuals will be complemented with the tones of Ian McShane and Lace Reddick, returning to voice their respective characters, no word on if John Wick himself, Keanu Reeves will voice the character though.
The game has been confirmed for PC and Mac, but no console platforms have been announced yet, expect it to be on most, if not all though.
