Iratus: Lord of the Dead is out now
Daedalic Entertainment has announced that Iratus: Lord of the Dead from developers Unfrozen, is available now for PC, giving players the chance to be the bad guy for once.
Iratus is a quest for vengeance as you are a newly resurrected necromancer and your entire purpose is now to find and punish those who wronged you in the first place.
Wield an array of occult powers to make your enemies recoil in fear, using the blood, guts, bones and souls of the fallen to create monstrous pawns for your own personal army. With four different skill trees to master (Alchemy, Magic, Ire and Destruction) and nearly 100 different minion skills to unlock, you’ll have plenty of choices to defeat your foes in turn-based combat.
As a roguelike, you will be challenged and so you will need to refine your strategic mind on all fronts as every enemy you kill will remain dead, but as will your minions. But even if someone dies, you can always harvest a body part or two, as you are a necromancer, you will just need to balance how it all plays out across the overworld.
