Indiana Jones and the Great Circle arrives on PlayStation 5 this April
An update to this story, Bethesda Australia have advised that the Collector’s Edition, the one with the globe will not be released in Australia for PlayStation 5. JB HiFi are still selling the Xbox Series X|S and PC versions, so if you have a PlayStation 5 and want that edition, that will be your only option locally.
Bethesda and MachineGames have revealed that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is whipping over onto PlayStation 5 on April 17. The news was revealed via the video below where another PlayStation archaeologist welcomes the original to the platform.
The game of course released last year for Xbox Series X|S and PC, we reviewed it and gave it a perfect score, so if you have been waiting for the PlayStation 5 release, your time is almost here.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been visually optimized for the PlayStation 5 Pro. In tandem with the PlayStation 5 launch, players can look forward to new whip abilities, Open Season and Sleight of Hand. With “Open Season”, whip-cracking an enemy will temporarily cause them to take more damage from subsequent attacks, while when using “Sleight of Hand,” players can disarm an enemy and cause their weapon to fly Indy’s way. For Xbox and PC fans worry not, these new abilities will be available across all platforms by April 15.
The Collector’s Bundle, which comes with a replica globe is also coming to PlayStation 5, here the other platforms got it via JB HiFi and it is still available. It has been confirmed for release here, but no word on who has it.
