Horde Assault is a new mode coming to Days Gone Remastered
PlayStation and developer Bend Studios have released a new trailer for the upcoming Days Gone Remastered release, which shows off the games new Horde Assault mode, check it out.
The new mode is included with the PlayStation 5 release of Days Gone, but for those players on PC, it will be included as part of the Broken Road DLC. PC players will also score Permadeath and Speedrun modes, with the story expansion as well.
But today is all about the new Horde Assault mode, which as you might have guessed by its name is an assault gameplay mode, where you have to survive and earn the highest score you can, against an unrelenting horde of Breaks, Reachers and Rager bears.
The gameplay loop is simple, you start with just a single pistol and if you survive the first wave, you get your bike and then the challenge really begins. The PlayStation Blog has a more detailed breakdown of the stages, but this is just one new addition to the game.
If you already own Days Gone on PlayStation, you can upgrade to the Remastered edition for $15. The game is set to release on to PlayStation 5 on April 23rd, with the Broken Roads DLC coming to PC the same day.
