Hellpoint is finally making its way to Switch this February
Cradle Games and Tiny Build Games have announced that Hellpoint will finally hit Switch on February 25th, after slipping from its planned launch alongside the other versions last year. The trailer below has the date and over 4 minutes worth of footage to enjoy, so check it out.
The game hit Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 last year and got a next gen support patch in December, but proper optimised versions for next gen are still coming.
For those that have not heard of Hellpoint before, the game is very Souls-like, but set in space. You will explore the derelict space station of Irid Novo and face bizarre enemies with a tight and unforgiving combat system.
As you explore you will discover a story that blends science and fantasy, and the intensely atmospheric dark sci-fi setting will keep you searching for answers.
If you are really keen on the game, a physical release is taking place on Switch and PlayStation 4, thanks to Signature Games. Right now, the game alone on each platform is around $50, the special edition of the game, which comes with some pins, cd soundtrack, artbook and more is around $70. Exchange rates may cause that to alter slightly when you go to buy it and if you do want the game, you can check it out here.
