Halo Infinite is getting free-to-play multiplayer
Over the weekend, reports emerged that Halo Infinite would have free to play multiplayer, and the games official Twitter confirmed it.

The game will also support 120fps on Xbox Series X and likely PC, but as PC gamers have had access to uncapped frames for sometime, it is not really news for them.
The free to play multiplayer though, that is big news, simply because it means that gamers will not have to spend $100 to just enjoy multiplayer and given the variety of maps and modes from almost two decades of Halo games, there could be a lot to enjoy.
Will those who buy a Xbox Series X day one, not get Halo Infinite, unlikely as it is the only dated game for the platform and so closely tied into the Xbox platform, most day one Xbox Series X adopters will get it, if not at retail, as part of Xbox Game Pass.
