Gran Turismo 7 is embracing car collecting, by including a dizzying array of cars

PlayStation Studios dropped a new trailer for Gran Turismo 7, that talks about car culture, specifically the collecting of cars and in the trailer, one very specific piece of information is revealed, when the game ships next year, it will offer players over 400 cars to race with.

The exact words from series creator and director Kazunori Yamauchi says are:

“Gran Turismo 7 includes cutting-edge PS5-quality models, but what makes GT7 special isn’t just the high quality. It’s also the sheer number of car models it contains. There are over 400 cars in the game. And many of the most fascinating cars from motoring history are included in GT7.”

Watching the trailer, you can see that all of the ones shown have a significant amount of detail on them, thanks to the PlayStation 5. It does raise the question though, how will the PlayStation 4 version of the game look.
