Get ready to soar as Microsoft Flight Simulator has a release date
Get ready to take flight, in perhaps the only way most of the world will be able to this year as Xbox have announced that Microsoft Flight Simulator, will be taking off on August 18.
There is a lot of planet to explore in this game, with more than 37 thousand airports, 1.5 billion buildings, 2 trillion trees, mountains, roads, rivers and more.
Jorg Neumann, Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator said “We have been thrilled and humbled by the support and dedication that has fueled the Flight Sim community for the past 38 years. Since the launch of the very first Microsoft Flight Simulator in 1982, we knew it was finally the right time to develop the next-generation version of Microsoft Flight Simulator.” continuing “We have the right tools, technology, partners and hardware to release the most realistic and authentic flight simulator to date.”
There are a few versions of the game being made available, the standard game, which is included in Xbox Game Pass for PC, provides the full world to fly in, but limits the number of planes and airports. Then as you go up, you get more planes and locations to land at included, just be warned, the game is expected to take almost 150gb of HDD space.
