GeForce Now is coming to Australia this year

Nvidia have announced that GeForce Now, their game streaming platform will soon be available in Australia, having reached a partnership with the Western Australia company Pentanet.

Founded by a group of avid gamers, Pentanet has built Perth, Australia’s largest and fastest-growing fixed wireless network, delivering high-bandwidth internet services to the Perth metro area as well as fiber throughout Western Australia.

What this means for folks on the east coast is yet to be seen, but one would imagine as long as you have the right internet connection, you should be ok.

GeForce Now is a game streaming service, with a little bit of a difference, in order for you to make use of the games available on it, you have to own them, but there is a very big blessing to this.

Once you sign up to the service, which can’t be done here just yet, you need to link your PC platforms, ie Steam, Epic Game Store or UPlay and then all the games in those libraries will be available for you to stream to your device of choice.

There is a price for using the service, but if your PC can’t play the big name games anymore, this is one way to enjoy them, without investing thousands of dollars into a new piece of hardware.
