First details and screens for NBA 2K22 are here
While it has only been a week since NBA 2K22 was announced, there is no slowing down the news as the first Courtside Report for this years release, which also included the first look at the game.
Here are some of the enhancements to the game for this year:
Gameplay – On-court gameplay movements will give players more control on how they score the ball to improve offensive moves and combos and how they counter those moves on the defensive end;
Seasons – Across fan-favourite experiences, Seasons will allow players to extend and enhance their hoop ambitions long after the game’s launch with more content, more rewards, and more ways to play;
MyTEAM – An evolved experience gives MyTEAM players more ways to build and compete with their own dream teams. New challenges, rewards, and events make every Season fresh and unique;
For those who love to spend time in the neighbourhood, this year will be slightly different, depending on the platform you get. For those who pick up the game on the next gen hardware, you will get to enjoy an all new city. For those who are playing on PC, Switch or the last gen PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, things are going to be a little wetter, as the new neighbourhood there will be on a cruise ship.
Those looking for the chance to become the best NBA player around, the MyCareer mode will give you choice and again, depending on your platform, things will be slightly different. For those on next gen hardware, the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S, you will get the chance to undertake a personal journey to the pros – a sprawling MyCareer life – by exploring the City, seeing new and familiar faces, and hooping your way to exciting new heights.
For those on the other platforms, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC will play out the new 2K22 narrative in a dedicated, traditional MyCareer experience. More details about the MyCareer mode are due to come in early September.
The game is set to release on September 10 for PlayStation 4, PC, Switch, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with multiple versions coming, all the details for those, can be found here.
