It has been 7 years since the last mainline Final Fantasy game released and yes, in that time there have been countless other titles released, there is always something special about a numbered entry.
Prices for this one are a little higher than normal as the RRP is $114.95, but even with that, you can still save a few dollars here and there. There is a Collectors Edition at some retailers, which comes with some extra physical goods, but there is a Digital Deluxe Edition as well.
Finally, if you are after a console as well as the game, there is a special bundle that includes the game and a disc-based console, there is nothing special about the hardware though.
