Everything revealed during the Capcom Highlights events
Capcom recently hosted a pair of streams called Capcom Highlights, where they revealed new details about existing games and reveals of games. As the streams were hosted over 2 days and a lot of time between them, so here is everything that was shown during both streams.
Dragon’s Dogma 2
Platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC | Date: March 22
Ahead of the release of Dragon’s Dogma 2 later this month, the developers have released the Character Creator & Storage. With this tool, which is available to download on all the platforms the game is releasing on, players can create 5 different designs for their character and one for their main pawn. The designs will transfer to the full game upon release, meaning you can get your design sorted now.
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess
Platforms: Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC | Date: 2024
Having debuted a new trailer during the Xbox Partner Preview, during the first Capcom Highlights the game got an actual gameplay deep dive, explaining more about what players can expect to enjoy when the game is released.
The game takes place on Mount Kafuku, where the maiden Yoshiro needs to purify the villages that cover the land, but she can’t do it alone and that is where Soh comes in, your character. By day, Soh joins forces with the villagers to prepare for an impending battle. When darkness looms, Soh, the villagers, and Yoshiro confront the festering Seethe, even more powerful enemies infused with the power of the stolen masks. Harness the power of Tsuba guards, wield dance-like sword techniques, adapt to constantly changing battle conditions, and take advantage of the different villager roles in order to cleanse the mountain.
The villagers that you save can be given roles, like an Archer who can fight enemies from a distance, or a Woodcutter who can fight up close. If you want to check out the gameplay deep dive for yourself, you can do so below.
