Call of Duty Warzone Mobile will offer support for controllers at release
When Call of Duty Warzone Mobile is released on March 21st, at least for those not in Australia where the game has been in soft launch for a while, players will have a few ways to take control of the action.
The game officially supports three different control methods, Touch, Backbone and Bluetooth, so you can use the one that works best for you. Here is a breakdown on each of the options.
Touch:
The touchscreen controls allow you to tap and swipe across glass. No additional peripherals are needed, and the game can be played immediately, with an incredibly deep array of customization options for fine-tuning available during your initial few matches and beyond.
Backbone One:
Transform your phone into a gaming console with Backbone One controller (sold separately) for iPhone and Android devices. Backbone One offers exceptional responsiveness and optimized preconfigured control layout.
Bluetooth:
If you play Call of Duty on console or PC using a controller (sold separately) and wish to match the feel of your current setup, then Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile has you covered, allowing for a wide variety of Bluetooth game controllers — like the Xbox Wireless Controller — to work seamlessly.
The official Call of Duty Blog has an in-depth breakdown on all three control options, including how you can tweak things to work for your preferred playstyle.
