Elsie has blasted out a release date for this September
Playtonic Friends and developer Knight Shift Games have announced that Elsie finally has a release date, with the rogue-like action platformer coming out on September 10th. Check out the amazing new animated trailer for the game below.
Elsie brings a fresh twist to the neo-retro genre with its hyperkinetic, rogue-like action platformer gameplay. The game is a thrilling ride through procedurally generated levels, teeming with robotic adversaries ready for battle. Following an assault on Neotoño City, Dr. Grey seeks sanctuary in Sapir Wharf, a coastal stronghold. It's here that she creates Elsie, an android tasked with a critical mission: to solve the enigma of the attack and rescue planet Ekis from the calamities that have befallen it.
Gamers are challenged to navigate through a maze of stages, engaging in combat with dynamic foes and formidable bosses. Mastery of perfectly timed precision parrying is essential. Elsie is a roguelike adventure where defeat is a frequent visitor, but each setback is a new opportunity to rise and confront the turmoil with renewed vigor.
