A new trailer for Elsie shows off the world and the bosses that live there
Via the recent MIX Showcase, Playtonic Friends revealed a new trailer for Elsie, the 2d action platformer that is coming to PC and Switch. The new trailer is all about the bosses and their locations, check it out.
When players first get a chance to head out into the world, they will venture out to the Eclipse Skyport, where they will encounter the first Guardian: Celestia. Fight through a challenging hoard of enemies, defeat the boss at the end of the biome and you’ll be rewarded with a selection of places to explore. Every playthrough will feature a selection of three biomes to explore, each differing greatly in art style and level design.
The team have revealed two of them, The Forgemaster’s Caldero, a volcanic grotto home to Ash, and the Jardin, the lush nature-coated kingdom that the Queen of Thorns Rosalyn calls home. Both of these areas will end with an intense guardian battle, and are but a few of the stopping places you’ll come to expect.
The game does not have a set release date yet, but is expected this year. If you can’t wait for the full release a demo is available on Steam now.
