EA Sports NHL 25 delivers a cool new gameplay trailer
Electronic Arts have released a new trailer for the upcoming EA Sports NHL 25, which shows off some of the updates that have been made to the game, check it out.
One of the new additions to the game is a system that the team are calling ICE-Q, which is not a form of sports gel, but rather an all-new logic animation system that responds to the events that happen on the ice. That means that each hit you deliver or take, will display an animation that reacts accordingly and not the same canned one.
There is more than that, a new next-gen refresh to most systems mean that there are new fresh abilities, improvements, and a user-initiated skating mode that ups the responsiveness, explosiveness, and expression on the ice for human and AI players alike. A completely overhauled AI player system heightens CPU skaters’ awareness of other players and positioning on the ice. Plus, a refreshed playbook improves power plays, 5-on-5 offensive plays.
Skill Based One-Timers create authentic gameplay tension as offensive excitement and expectation mix with defensive concern and anticipation, each pass creating unique moments and opportunities for high-scoring probability shots.
There is more to come ahead of the games release on October 5 for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Those willing to pay more though can get the game 7 days earlier on September 28.
