EA Play is returning in 2020, as a purely digital event

While E3 as a whole is not happening, it is not stopping companies from announcing plenty of events to fill its space, one company that is still doing its own thing is EA, having left E3 a few years ago, to make things more accessible for it’s fans, EA Play was born. Via Twitter, EA have announced that EA Play will be back this year, though it will be an an entirely digital event, streaming live around the world.

While there is no word on what content we will see, updates for Apex Legends are a given, as will FIFA 21 and Madden 21, though Need for Speed will likely be absent, unless a big update is announced for Heat. Expect to see some games for the upcoming consoles, Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5, even if they are just the sports games, as for Switch, grain of salt on a game being shown for that platform.

For those looking for Star Wars content, this is the one area where things are likely to be the most unknown, we got a big update today for Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, but Star Wars Battlefront II finished up its post release content last week. While EA have many studios, they tend not to make many games at once, but I am happy to be proven wrong.

Of course, as they are an American based company, they have not provided times for us here in Australia, but I have, so here are the times you need.
