Dragon Quest Builders 2 lays a DLC foundation
Nintendo and Square Enix have detailed the DLC release schedule for Dragon Quest Builders 2, with the first two pieces releasing two weeks after the game releases.
The two pieces that launch together are Hotto Stuff Pack and the Knickknack Pack, the latter will cost nothing as it will be free to all players, however the Hotto Stuff Pack will require either an individual purchase, or the purchase of the season pass.
The first paid pack is $9, with the other two at $15 each, or you can buy the season pass and get all three for $31.50, if you want to pre-order the game on eShop you can do that here, or if you want the two, you can order this bundle, or get the season pass on its own.
Included within the Hotto Stuff Pack, players will discover more than 40 recipes to design and decorate structures that look similar to the Hotto Steppe – a popular resting area in a distant land where weary visitors can take a break from their travels. Players will also get access to an additional island to gather the materials they’ll need to build these recipes.
Both will be available to get on July 26th
One week later on August 2nd, players can get the Aquarium Pack and travel to the Isle of Awakening to discover a fishing island with a net full of quests and characters to meet. Learn how to catch 40 different fish that can be added to a DIY aquarium. Unlock the fishing rod as well as customisation options, including swimwear, straw hats and a ponytail hairstyle.
The final pack will release on August 9 and let players step into the modern age as the pack includes more than 70 different recipes to construct modern-looking structures, or change hairstyles and clothing. Players can take their architectural skills to the next level by building a fashionable luxury hotel.
