Disney+ is bringing some big names to the service in March

Disney have outlined some of the big titles coming to Disney+ for the month of March, from cinema heavyweights like The Lion King, to original content like Stargirl and Be Our Chef. Star Wars The Clones Wars also continues throughout March.

The big things kick off on March 6, with the release of The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau, journeys to the African savanna, where a future king overcomes betrayal and tragedy to assume his rightful place on Pride Rock. Through pioneering filmmaking techniques, The Lion King brings treasured characters to life in a whole new way.

On the same day, The Art of Racing in the Rain speeds onto the screen, starring Kevin Costner, Milo Ventimiglia, Amanda Seyfried. Based on the New York Times' bestseller, a dog named Enzo recalls the life lessons he has learned from his race car driving owner, Denny.

One week later on March 13, Stargirl will leap from the page to the screen, based on the critically-acclaimed, New York Times’ best-selling young adult novel about an unassuming high schooler who finds himself inexplicably drawn to the free-spirited new girl, whose unconventional ways change how they see themselves…and their world.

Coming at the end of the month is Be Our Chef, a cooking competition that challenges five food-loving families to create delicious dishes inspired by the magic of Disney. In each episode, two of our families will go head-to-head in a themed cooking challenge at Walt Disney World. The two families with the most wins make it to the spectacular finale, where they compete for a magical grand prize!

Of course, there is plenty more on the platform, more Star Wars, more movies and beyond.
