With the upcoming release of Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Blizzard have taken the time to talk about the history of the expansion, with former level designers Ely Cannon, Sarah Boulian-Verrall, and Aaron Keller explaining how this classic icy land came to be.

This video is just the first in a planned series of drops, though there is no word on how many there will be, but as the year progresses, more will be added to the Blizzard YouTube channel.

For now there is no exact release date for the expansion, outside of 2022, but as long as you have an active World of Warcraft subscription, you will get access to it once it is live.
