Diablo IV expands in 2024 with the expansion Vessel of Hatred, but more is coming sooner
Blizzard have announced that fans of saving Sanctuary will have more fighting to do in 2024 when the expansion Vessel of Hatred is released, check out the teaser for it below.
Vessel of Hatred continues the grim tale that began in Diablo IV, as you learn the fate of the prime evil Mephisto and his demonic plans for Sanctuary. To do that, you’ll be visiting a region new to Diablo IV, known by the locals as Nahantu.
With this continuation of the campaign’s story comes new ways to play, new evils to vanquish, and a brand-new Class never before seen in the Diablo universe. Vessel of Hatred releases late next year, with more details expected in the Winter months of next year, likely around the time that a certain gaming show used to happen.
For those seeking something new to do sooner, the third season of content for the game is on its way and bringing a new type of weekly challenge dungeon, called The Gauntlet. The name should give you an idea, but its not exactly what you might be expecting. Once you step in, players can compete for their Class ranking against anyone in the world. At the end of each week, the combatants with the highest rank will have their name cemented in the Seasonal Hall of the Ancients for all of time.
New seasonal offerings are coming starting on December 12 and will last for 3 weeks. Midwinter Blight may not be accurate for us down under, but you will still get to trudge through the snow-laden, winter terror-land of Fractured Peaks.
There is much to come in this Season of Blood, the roadmap below will give you an idea of what is left, but there is another season still on the way.
