Death Note Killer Within revealed and is out next week

Bandai Namco have announced an all-new game in Death Note Killer Within with the game itself coming out next week for PlayStation consoles and PC, along with it being a day one release into PlayStation Plus. Check out the announcement trailer below.

"Death Note: Killer Within" is an immersive online social deduction game that supports cross-play and accommodates up to 10 players in a life-or-death scenario. Divided into two factions, the players' mission is to deduce the identities of their opponents in order to eliminate L or capture the Death Note from Kira. With Kira and L on equal footing, each conceals their identity, engaging in a strategic battle for dominance. Players can assume the role of Kira and his accomplices or join L and the investigators in a cerebral contest for the elusive Death Note, culminating in an intense clash where only the most cunning will emerge victorious.

Death Note Killer Within offers players the chance to step into one of four distinct roles: Kira, Kira Follower, L, or Investigator, each with its own unique gameplay features. Players are encouraged to devise a variety of strategies as the game unfolds through randomized scenarios, leading to intense and thrilling matches. Moreover, the game allows for personalization of nameplates and in-game avatars, which can be adorned with up to seven different accessories, along with special effects that enhance the experience during crucial moments of gameplay.

The game will be available in both standard and special editions for its three platforms and will arrive on November 5.
