DC's The Penguin gets a new trailer ahead of its September release
DC and HBO have released the first trailer for The Penguin, a limited series that continues the story of Oswald Cobblepot, the version that was played by Colin Farrell in The Batman. Check out the trailer below
Details on the story are light, we do have this brief synopsis for the show however.
Following the events of "The Batman," Oswald Cobblepot, a.k.a. The Penguin, makes a play to seize the reins of the crime world in Gotham.
When they say following events, they mean it as the show is rumoured to take place a week after the movie ends. Colin Farrell is returning from the movie, but the rest of the cast are all new to the world.
As this is a HBO release, it should end up on Binge here in Australia. The first episode, of the eight, will air on September 19th and should be weekly from that point.
