Days Gone is revving up again as a PC release is happening
In a move that shouldn’t be too surprising, PlayStation and Bend Studios have revealed that Days Gone is losing its PlayStation 4 exclusive badge and will soon make the jump to PC.

Sadly there are not a lot of details, outside of that, but Jim Ryan, Sony Interactive Entertainment president and CEO said in an interview with GQ:
“We find ourselves now in early 2021 with our development studios and the games that they make in better shape than they’ve ever been before.”
“Particularly from the latter half of the PS4 cycle our studios made some wonderful, great games. There’s an opportunity to expose those great games to a wider audience and recognize the economics of game development, which are not always straightforward. The cost of making games goes up with each cycle, as the caliber of the IP has improved. Also, our ease of making it available to non-console owners has grown. So it’s a fairly straightforward decision for us to make.”
None of that means that you should expect the Uncharted games to arrive tomorrow, or Ratchet and Clank, but it does mean that in time, a lot more of Sony’s formally exclusive titles, could make an appearance on PC.
The Steam listing for the game has gone live, which gives us screens, which you can see below and also confirmation of a few functions.
PC features include ultra-wide monitor support, unlocked framerates and improved graphics (increased level of details, field of view, foliage draw distances).
