Dawn of Ragnarok is set to expand Assassin's Creed Valhalla next March
Ubisoft have announced that things in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla are set to heat up next March, with a cool new expansion, Dawn of Ragnarok coming to the game, check out the reveal trailer for it below.
You are Eivor, but also Odin and in this new expansion, you as Eivor must embrace your destiny as Odin, in order to save your son and take down new enemies along the way.
A few new weapons are not all you get when you become the All-Father, as Odin you can absorb new abilities from foes you have downed and then turn those abilities back upon your enemies. Enemies that you defeat can be resurrected to fight for you, giving you an army when you need it and if that wasn’t enough, you can use Odin’s ability to transform himself into a raven, in order to create new pathways to get behind the enemies that impede your progress.
A new quest needs a new world to explore and as Odin, you will venture to Svartalfheim, the home of the Dwarves and while there are massive mountains and deep valleys to conquer, the realm is also being invaded, by the Jotnars (Frost Giants) of Jotunheim and Muspels (Fire folk) from Mepelheim. You can make use of your array of new abilities to take them down, as you make your way to face Surtr, a Fire Giant and one of the deadliest foes Odin will have ever faced.
The expansion will be available for purchase soon, though it won’t be ready until March 14, which is the current release date for the game, but that is good news, as the developers have said that players can access to around once their character reaches level 4, but they suggest that you don’t bother until your power level is around 340, else things may not be as fun, due to the difficulty.
