Assassin's Creed Valhalla is crossing over with Assassin's Creed Odyssey today
Not content with announcing a massive expansion coming next year, Ubisoft have announced that both Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey are both getting a free update later today, that will add in a cross-over story to each game, bringing elements of each into the other.
For those playing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the mission that will be delivered is called A Fated Encounter and in it Eivor will head to the Isle of Skye, after a series of terrible nightmares put a sense of foreboding in their bones.
To play A Fated Encounter, you must reach Settlement Level 4 and have completed the quest A Wise Friend, where you help Valka establish herself in Ravensthorpe
On the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey front, the mission is called Those Who Are Treasured, where allies from your past will set you on a new journey to Korfu Island, involving a Piece of Eden and much more.
After completing Chapter 1 and reaching Megaris, you may find the quest giver at Sami’s Port on Kephallonia Island, therefore unlocking this quest, but if you have not finished the main story, you will want to do that first, as it will spoil things otherwise.
Both missions will unlock themed armour sets and more from the other game, so you can add some Greek fashion to your Norse adventures and vice-versa.
