Dakar Desert Rally bashes out a new update that adds in some welcome updates
Saber Interactive have announced that a new free update for Dakar Desert Rally is now available for all platforms, which adds in new features and cars. Plus owners of the Season Pass have even more cars to enjoy, check out the trailer to see what is included.
The first major addition is that of the customer roadbook editor. Now you can create your own intensely challenging off-road race events and stages, then share them with the world. In addition to that, a patch has been released, which also adds a new free replay and photo mode to the game, along with many other changes.
For all players, there is a new car to obtain and that is the Audi RS Q e-tron, plus there is a pack of cars via the SnowRunner Cars Pack DLC, which includes the TUZ 166, DON 71, KHAN 39, KHAN 317, and KHAN L04F.
For those Season Pass owners, there are two vehicle packs to enjoy, the Hybrid Vehicle Pack and Classics Vehicle Pack #2. Both packs can also be bought on their own, if you don’t wish to buy the season pass. Here is what is included in each pack:
DLC - Hybrid Vehicle Pack: Embrace the green initiative and renewable energy with Dakar’s new hybrid future car and trucks - the GCK Motorsport, Hino 600 Hybrid and Riwald Renault C460.
DLC - Classics Vehicle Pack #2: Jump into the driver’s seat of these iconic vintage vehicles from 1982 and 1985 - the Lada Niva 1600 4x4 and Honda Africa Twin.
The update is out now for PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
