Cyberpunk 2077 reveals its overhauled mechanics ahead of Phantom Liberty's release
CD Projekt Red have released a new trailer for the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, which shows off the overhauled mechanics for the game, from the skill tree to driving and more, check it out,.
The new skill tree offers a wide range of powerful abilities that allow players to master new playstyles and create unique, meaningful builds. Phantom Liberty also introduces a densely packed new location, Dogtown, with endless dynamic events and missions, action-packed gigs, new clothing items, weapons, cyberware, and more to explore.
Also updated is the games redesigned perks system, showing off some brand-new perks that offer players more impactful gameplay options and the ability to take down enemies in thrilling, original ways. Enemy AI in combat will also be improved, making fights more dynamic and intuitive.
These updates will also role out to the base game on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, so even if you don’t get the expansion, you can enjoy the changes. However like the lack of expansion on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, these updates are not coming there.
The update and expansion will arrive at the same time on September 26th, meaning around a month from now.
