Cyberpunk 2077 drops new information for Phantom Liberty
With the release date for Cyberpunk 2077’s upcoming expansion Phantom Liberty locked in, more details about the content are being released, one such release is the below guided tour of Black Market. This is one of the new locations that players will be able to visit and explore when enter Dogtown.
The clip above and the interview with Keanu Reeves below, were both included in the Xbox Games Showcase Extended. While you can still watch the entire presentation, Xbox nor any of the developers that showcased content, had released the various parts on their own.
In the video below, Leanu Reeves talks about Dogtown, where most of the expansion’s story will take place, painting a picture of the ruined, walled-off district no longer under the jurisdiction of Night City, where crime and the shadiest of businesses thrive. Reeves also talks about his portrayal of Johnny Silverhand, as well as the rebel rockerboy’s approach to some of the new characters joining the cast in Phantom Liberty, including FIA agent Solomon Reed, played by Idris Elba.
The expansion is only for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC, with those owners of the game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One being unable to play this. As such anyone who bought the Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox One X console bundle, will get store credit in lieu of the expansion, more details here.
Phantom Liberty will arrive on September 26th and the base game is getting some big patches for it now, in order to be ready, so look out for those.
