Crysis Remastered gets revealed in full, then delayed
Overnight Crytek revealed Crysis Remastered, an enhanced version of the original game and the two trailers below are the reveals, one of Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 and one for Switch. The bad new is that soon after they revealed the trailers, they delayed the game.
The Switch trailer is below
The classic first person shooter from Crytek is back with the action-packed gameplay, sandbox world, and thrilling epic battles you loved the first time around – now with remastered graphics optimized for a new generation of hardware.
“We are excited to be working on the Crysis franchise again, and to bring all the Crysis fans a remaster worthy of their passion for the game,” said Crytek CEO Avni Yerli. “It’s an exciting opportunity to be able to bring Crysis back to PCs and current consoles – even Nintendo Switch! – so that a whole new generation of players can experience the thrill of a battle in the Nanosuit.”
The delay though was a bit of a shock, I think this must be a record between a full reveal and a delay being announced, the good news is, it is only a few weeks. Check out the full statement below.
The Switch pre-orders are still available and honestly, I doubt that the version here will see any changes, given its lack of power, but we do have screens for it. For the other platforms, check out here for some screens.
