Children of the Sun gets an update that shoots back

Devolver Digital and developer René Rother have released a new update for puzzle shooter Children of the Sun, that adds in someone who will shoot back at you. Check out the trailer to see what is going on.

The big addition in the update means that players will have to watch out for a new enemy that can fire back. The sniper cultist has a bullet with your name on it, and will put a premature end to your quest for vengeance if you don’t find a way to deal with them

But that is not all, the update also introduces a challenging new horde mode that will test The Girl’s powers to their limits. And if you’re wondering how The Girl can take on an entire horde of cultists with only one bullet, well, now she can reload: by shooting herself.

Finally, Nightmare Paralysis also features dynamic weather, levels that shift as you play, and more. This update adds a whole new dimension to Children of the Sun’s violent road trip of revenge.

The update is free and is out now for PC.
