Call of Duty Modern Warfare II is shipping this October
Overnight, Activision and developer Infinity Ward revealed the official artwork for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and confirmed that the game is releasing on October 28th, check out the artwork reveal below.
Along with the release date, we have some additional intel to share regarding some of the characters you will encounter in the game. Key members of Task Force 141, are Team leader Captain John Price, Sergeant “Soap” MacTavish, Sergeant Kyle “Gaz” Garrick, lone-wolf Simon “Ghost” Riley, and Colonel Alejandro Vargas of the Mexican Special Forces.
Interestingly, there were no platforms announced for this next entry, though PC is likely a safe bet, as are the next gen consoles from Xbox and PlayStation. There is a full reveal expected in June, but nothing has been announced at this time.
