Assassin's Creed is coming to Netflix with many new experiences

In a move that is a little surprising, Ubisoft have announced that Assassin’s Creed is coming to Netflix, with an all new series.

As there are no specific rules for what needs to be made for Netflix, the first show will be live action, but additional content will be animated and anime in style.

“For more than 10 years, millions of fans around the world have helped shape the Assassin’s Creed brand into an iconic franchise,” said Jason Altman, Head of Ubisoft Film & Television - Los Angeles. “We’re thrilled to create an Assassin’s Creed series with Netflix, and we look forward to developing the next saga in the Assassin’s Creed universe.”

There is currently no other details for the first show, as they are still confirming everything, but the news is welcome as it could be good. Of course, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is coming out in just a few weeks, so the timing works out for them as well.
