Apple has unveiled the Watch SE, a more affordable option
Overnight Apple hosted their September event and one of the new products revealed was the Apple Watch SE, a more value orientated watch, though priced cheaper, it still packs in the value.
“Apple Watch SE combines elements of the Series 6 design with the most essential features of Apple Watch, all at a more affordable price,” said Jeff Williams, Apple’s chief operating officer. “We’re excited to offer another great option to help customers stay connected, be more active, and keep an eye on their health.”
There are a host of new additions to the Watch, but the most important part is the price and the Watch SE starts at $429. That is for the GPS/Wifi Only model, the one with Cellular or mobile coverage is $499 and both those prices increase, if you increase the size of the display.
Orders can be taken now, but they won’t be on sale until September 18, so those looking to buy in store will have to wait a few days.
