Another world update brings Oceania and Antarctica to Microsoft Flight Simulator
Xbox have announced the next update for Microsoft Flight Simulator, which is slowly filling in the world. This time the update will take pilots to Oceania, which consists of dozens of nations and even more islands, but there is also some Antarctica in the update.
For those who have forgotten their geography or perhaps never learnt this, Oceania is the region of the world that sits north east of Australia and north of New Zealand. This region is home to many countries and the update adds a total of 13 countries and 28 non-sovereign territories, many with improved resolution that will allow pilots to experience stunning new vistas throughout these regions.
From Polynesia, which includes Hawaii and Easter Island, Melanesia with Fiji, New Caledonia, New Guinea, Indonesia’s West Papua, and the Solomon Islands as part of that group, the Galapagos Islands and key regions of Antarctica, notably the Antarctic Peninsula.
The Xbox Wire has a full breakdown of the locations, challenges, planes and more, but the update is out now, so you could just jump in and take flight to see if for yourself.
