There is no denying that the rest of the year is going to be loaded down with plenty of incredible games and because of the date that Alan Wake 2 had selected, the developers have opted to delay it.

The statement for the delay was released via Twitter and you can see it below and just admits that they wanted to give players a chance to enjoy the games they want, without having to worry about over lap.

An update from the Alan Wake 2 team: we're moving Alan Wake 2's launch from October 17 to October 27.

October is an amazing month for game launches and we hope this date shift gives more space for everyone to enjoy their favorite games.

So the game is coming on October 27th, but when it does it will be on PC via Epic Game Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
