After years of silence, Skull & Bones gets a development update
After four years of silence, or close to, it seems that Ubisoft are getting ready to set sail once more on Skull & Bones, as they are now looking to invite small number of players to help test out the game.
According to the games website, they are looking for a small number of testers, as part of their Insiders Program. The game that would be playable in what they are calling, an early state, but what that means is not yet known.
Of course, with the game being in development for so long, you might asking yourself why do testing now. Well they have an answer for that as well.
Our main objective is to get real data & feedback. We want to see what our players do when they're free to play our game whenever they want, however they want. Most importantly, we want to know how they feel about the game.
For this, we've established dedicated channels of communication reserved for members of the Insider Program to share about their experience, discuss with each other and get information straight from our development team.
Anyone who is selected to take part in the testing will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement, so don’t think you can share the details.
With them looking for real player feedback, hopefully they are getting closer to a release and at least now the game can be removed from the vaporware group of games.
