Acer are refreshing their Predator Orion 7000 to include the new 13th gen Intel CPU
Acer have announced that their Predator Orion 7000 is getting an upgrade, now coming with the newly announced Intel 13th Gen CPU, and is likely the first of many machines to get the upgrade.
“With the new 13th Gen Intel Core desktop processors, the Predator Orion 7000 powers extraordinary performance for even the most demanding game titles,” said Jeff Lee, General Manager, Stationary Computing, IT Products Business, Acer Inc. “The Predator Orion 7000 continues to deliver best-in-class gameplay experiences beyond what gamers expect, and we’re excited to be among the first to bring the new CPUs to market.”
The upgradable Windows 11 PCs have been enhanced with up to Intel Core i9-13900K desktop processors. With its new performance hybrid architecture, the 13th Gen Intel Core processors let gamers and creators do even more at once with their advanced real-world computing and ultra-efficient multi-tasking capabilities.
While an exact date and price has yet to be confirmed, we do know the machines are coming in 2023, and given that the current Intel 12th Gen CPU model has a RRP of around $6,500, that should give you plenty of time to save up your pennies.
If you want to look at the current versions specs, which shouldn’t be too different compared to the new model, you can do that here.
