Play big and win big with Fortnite and a share of $100,000,000

Epic have announced that Fortnite is not only going to be the biggest game on earth, but it will make some of it's players the richest, with $100,000,000 US up for grabs in events that are happening 2019.

The Fortnite World Cup will happen in July in New York City, with entrance happening via the Open Qualifiers, which will run over 10 weeks between April 13 to June 16. Those who are eligible to entry, will have their shot at $1,000,000 US in each of the qualifying events, see below for who is eligible.

If you happen to make it to the World Cup Finals in New York City, you will be guareenteed $50,000 US for playing and the one who takes home the Fortnite Solo World Cup Championship will leave with a cool $3,000,000... that is Three Million.

But don't worry if you are not a super strong player under the spotlight of a global tournament, because Epic have also stated that part of the $100,000,000, will go to a series of events happening in countries, like the Australian Open Fortnite ProAm that happened back in January.

While details on these local events are not yet known, once they are, I will let you know.
