Mark of the Ninja Remastered steps out of the shadows this October

Klei Entertainment announced Mark of the Ninja Remastered earlier in the year, through a Nintendo Direct and today they have announced it is set to release on Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 9th.

The games original graphics stopped at 720p, but this time if you have a 4K enabled device, you will be able to enjoy the visuals up to that level. All of the images, character and backgrounds have been recreated in 4K, meaning you will see much more detail than the original release.

The game also sports an all new 5.1 sound mix, letting you hear (or not as you are a Ninja) all of the action you create on screen in entirely new ways.

In addition, if you already own the game on PC or Xbox 360, a special promotion is available that will let you purchase the remaster, at a discounted price. PC fans can do so via Steam and those on Xbox One, will only have the option if they already own the game on their Xbox Live account.

Finally, if that was not enough, the game adds Dosan's tale. Play as a young Dosan, get new unique items, an additional story level and unlocked developer commentary nodes throughout the original game.
