Dead or Alive 6 brings back a classic fighter and an all new one

Koei Tecmo have announced that when Dead or Alive 6 makes its release, Rig will be a returning character for the game, but Diego is a new addition. Check out their first fight below.

Diego

With Diego hailing from the USA and using a street style for fighting, he is a scrappy fighter. His style comes from the fact that he grew up in the back alleys of New York, he started entering street matches to win money to support his ailing mother, and quickly became known as New York’s “uncrowned street hero.” With a talent for fighting in confined quarters, his anything-goes full-body-contact move-set is visceral and raw.

Rig

For returning character Rig, the former oil-platform worker uses a variety of kick-based attacks, but in Dead or Alive 6 his style has evolved to incorporate more dynamic and acrobatic moves as well. Rig can be seen in the new trailer challenging Diego to fight, bringing him in to the Dead or Alive ring for the first time.

The game is in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC and expected to release in early 2019, though no specific date has been provided.
