The Pre-Launch Tournament for Mario Tennis Aces serves up this June

Nintendo Australia has confirmed the local times for the Mario Tennis Aces Pre-Launch Online Tournament, which will give players the chance to play the game, ahead of its June 22nd release.

From 12:00am AEST on Saturday 2nd June until 9:00am AEST on Monday 4th June, players will be able to participate in online matches, in a tournament style format, thus the name.

Tennis hopefuls will be able to pick from four playable characters, Mario, Peach, Yoshi, and Bowser, with players earning points based on their performance, with five additional characters available to unlock in the demo by gaining enough points.

The game will offer some local solo play during this time, but the console will still need to be online for it to work and once the ending time has come, that mode will also stop working.

You will be able to download the pre-launch build, in late May, before the session begins.
