Pokemon for Switch doubles down with Let's Go Pikachu! and Let's Go Eevee!
Nintendo and the Pokemon Company have announced another new Pokemon game, coming to Nintendo Switch on November 16. Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Pokemon Let's Go Eevee.
At the start of your tale, you will encounter either Pikachu or Eevee, depending on which game version you choose. This Pikachu or Eevee will join you as your partner in your adventures, growing together with you on your journey.
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! also feature two-player simultaneous play. By sharing one of the Joy-Con controllers with a partner, two players can adventure at the same time. Throw Poké Balls together when you encounter Pokémon to boost your chances of successfully catching them, or have a friend lend a hand by joining you in battles against Trainers in your game.
In addition, players will be able to purchase an all new Joy-Con controller, in the shape of a PokeBall, but this won't just be a theme, the PokeBall will actually let you transfer a Pokemon to it, then let you take it around the world with you. If you do this, something special may happen.
Additionally, if you play Pokemon Go, you will be able to transfer Pokemon from the mobile game, to the Switch and back again, you will even be able to send gifts between the two. Sending Pokemon between the games though, will only work if they are from the Kanto region, the first region in the series.
The game is set for release on November 16, the Pokeball Plus controller will also release that same day
