Crackdown 3 delayed yet again
In a move, while not surprising, but still frustrating, Microsoft has announced that Crackdown 3 has been delayed again, this time until the Autumn of 2018, which means March, April or May. The news was confirmed by Shannon Loftis, General Manager for Microsoft Studios Publishing, via Twitter.
Crackdown 3:campaign, coop, & Wrecking Zone is moving to spring 18 so we can make sure we deliver all the awesome that Crackdown fans want. https://t.co/dwWPJ25NXq— Shannon Loftis (@shannonloftis) August 16, 2017
To clarify: the entire game is moving to Spring 2018. It's super ambitious, and we want to make sure the game delivers. https://t.co/cGdHTnuI2b— Shannon Loftis (@shannonloftis) August 16, 2017
While no confirmed date has been given, this now leaves Xbox One X without a title to show off the consoles power the day it releases, sure other games are going to be supported, but they were not set to release day and date with the machine.
