Image & Form have announced that SteamWorld Dig 2 is complete, well in terms of additions to the game and now the studio are going to take a small break, before they begin the arduous work of polishing and bug fixing.

But that is not the only good news, in addition to that, PlayStation 4 and Steam gamers will be getting the game soon after the Switch release as well. How soon is yet to be determined, but the team are aiming for a few days, no word about an Xbox One version yet, though I would be shocked if it is not in the cards.

The game now has a release window as well, Late Summer/Early Fall or for those of us within the Southern half of the globe, Later Winter/Early Spring. Once the team come back from their break, they will provide a specific date and also the price players can expect to play.

Finally, the team have announced that they are looking into versions for 3DS and Vita, but they have nothing to announce yet and sadly, while they supported the Wii U, SteamWorld Dig 2 won't be coming to the platform.
