Playdius Brings Indie Games To All
Game publisher Playdius has today announced their PAX East line up, which is bringing together a host of games, from a variety of indie developers and to a range of platforms, including Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
“We’re extremely passionate about Indie games and their creators, therefore it was a natural progression that we would create a publishing arm that allows us to work with developers to get their projects out there for the public to enjoy. We look forward to showcasing our first group of games under the new label at PAX East for all attendees to experience.” says Francis Ingrand, CEO of Plug In Digital.
First up is sU and the Quest for meaning, from the single developer Guillaume Bouckaert and is a single screen endless platformer, about getting a higher score and finding meaning in your actions. The game is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
Next, lets take a look at Pankapu, from Too Kind Studio, which is a narrative and episodic platform/action game that takes place in the dreams of Djaha’rell, a child once troubled by a tragic incident. Play Pankapu, the tiny warrior chosen by The God of Dreams, to rid the Dreamworld of the Nightmare invasion. The game is already out on PC, but is still to come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch.
Following that, we have Neuro Voider from Flying Oak Games, where players will get to take control in this twin-stick shooter RPG set in a cyber futuristic world about brains shooting around evil robots with nuclear rocket launchers. Battle through the horde of vigilant robots, boost your character with the smoking remains of your victims, and defeat the master NeuroVoider. Players can look forward to the game on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC
Finally, we have Away from Aurelien Regard, a colourful first person adventure game that combines action and negotiation mixed in a rogue-lite environment! Progress through the story and, level by level choose your path and recruit allies. All the strange characters you will meet in-game will be playable in first person, and it will be up to you to find the right words to convince them to join your team! The game will be coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Xbox One
